EasyCheck (easycheckpro.com) is a UAE and GCC cheque printing product, and the clearest contrast with ChequeMaster is architectural: cloud versus desktop, and renewing versus perpetual.

Licence model — the main difference

ChequeMasterEasyCheck
TypeWindows desktopCloud-based (desktop edition also offered)
Price$20 / ₹950 one-time (from $99)AED 750 / 1,200 / 3,000 by tier
Licence termUnlimited validity3 years, then annual renewal
RenewalsNoneAED 300–600 per year after year 3

Work out the multi-year figure rather than comparing headline prices. A 3-year licence with annual renewals afterwards is a subscription with a long first interval, and over five or ten years the totals diverge substantially from a one-time purchase.

That is a description of their published model, not a criticism of it — renewals fund ongoing cloud hosting, which a desktop product does not incur.

Cloud versus desktop: pick your tradeoff

Cloud suits you if you want access from several machines or locations, multiple users working simultaneously, and someone else handling backups.

Desktop suits you if you want your cheque records to stay on your own hardware, you print from one PC, and you would rather not depend on a connection or a subscription remaining current to issue a cheque.

ChequeMaster keeps everything local — nothing uploaded to us. The cost is that backups are yours to run and there is no access from a second machine without a second licence.

Where EasyCheck is stronger

Stated plainly, because it is true:

  • An Arabic-language interface. They run a full Arabic locale. ChequeMaster's interface and website are English only.
  • Multi-user and multi-device access, being cloud-based.
  • A Zoho Books integration. ChequeMaster has no accounting integration at all — CSV payee import is the bridge.
  • Tiered plans, if you want a larger package with more capacity.

On Arabic: an Arabic interface is a real feature. Printing Arabic details onto a cheque is a different thing, and to our knowledge nobody in this market does it — Gulf cheque stationery is bilingual and businesses fill it in in English. See printing in multiple languages.

Where we are stronger

  • One-time purchase, unlimited validity. No renewal cycle.
  • Wider bank coverage — 105 layouts across 19 countries, spanning India and the Gulf rather than the Gulf alone.
  • Local data storage, if that is what you want.
  • Three-decimal currencies for KWD, BHD and OMR.
  • Lower entry price.

Deciding

Operating across several UAE offices with multiple people issuing cheques, and want an Arabic interface? A cloud product fits that shape better than ours does.

Printing from one PC, wanting a single payment and no renewals, and covering both Indian and Gulf banks? That is our case.
