Four Qatari banks, four different sizes
Qatar is the clearest example in the Gulf of why one layout cannot serve a country. Every one of the four supported Qatari banks uses a different cheque size. If you hold accounts at more than one, expect to set up a separate cheque book and layout for each, and to re-check margins when you switch — a tray guide set for a 202 mm cheque will let a 175 mm leaf wander.
Printing a small cheque
At 175 x 80 the fields are close together. Reduce the amount-in-words font a step rather than letting text crowd the line below it, and keep both word lines enabled so longer amounts wrap instead of overflowing.

The Qatari riyal takes two decimal places. Set the words unit to millions.
