An international bank, a local cheque
Worth stating plainly, because it catches people out: HSBC's cheque in Qatar is a Qatari cheque. It does not match HSBC's stationery in Singapore, which ChequeMaster carries separately at 178 x 90 mm with boxed date digits rather than a single field. The bank brand travels; the cheque format is set locally.
So if you hold HSBC accounts in more than one country, select the layout by country as well as by bank name.

- Test-print on plain paper; at this size, verify the date field position first, since it sits close to the top edge.
