Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait uses the Bahraini cheque format: 178 x 90 mm with boxed date digits. The name spans two countries; the cheque follows Bahraini practice.
That distinction matters if you also hold a Kuwaiti account. Kuwaiti cheques in ChequeMaster use a single continuous date field and run either 202 x 93 or 178 x 89 mm. So a BBK cheque and, say, an Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait cheque are a millimetre apart in height and completely different in how the date prints.

Getting boxed dates right
Print onto plain A4 and hold it against a real leaf up to a light. Look at the date row before anything else — if the digits straddle the box divisions, adjust the left margin in small steps until they sit centred. Fix the date and the rest of the cheque is usually already correct.
Currency and decimals
Bahraini dinars, three decimal places (1,000 fils). Set decimal digits to 3 in Settings.
How to set it up
- Decimals to 3.
- Add the account under Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait — under Bahrain, whichever country the account sits in.
- Create a cheque book with the BBK layout.
- Test-print, checking the date boxes first.
