That is the useful thing to know here. If the first layout puts fields slightly wrong while the paper size is clearly correct, switch to the second before you start adjusting margins — it takes seconds and it resolves this more often than margin work does.

Which variant do I have?
There is no marking on the cheque that tells you. The practical test is a print on plain paper:
- Create the cheque book with the first Al Salam layout.
- Print one cheque to plain A4 and compare against a real leaf.
- If fields are wrong relative to each other, edit the cheque book and switch it to the second Al Salam layout.
- Reprint and compare again.
You can change a cheque book's layout after creating it, so this costs nothing but paper.
